Fridge-a-Thon event

Last night, After Hours Gallery, in downtown Phoenix, hosted the SRP Fridge-a-Thon. The media and many people showed for the event. There were 15 fridges by 15 different artists and they were all so different and fun. It has been a great time in my career to be apart of the Fridge-a-Thon.

I am being filmed today at Cox Studios with my fridge, Shooting Star, for a TV spot. I will let you know how it goes. Supposedly they are doing it in stop animation.
Star Light, 13x13" on canvas
This is a mixed media painting. I took two digital images and transformed them in photoshop. Then I put the image on canvas and stretched it. I put texture on some the areas and then I painted and poured acrylics and inks on the image leaving some areas free of paint. This was very fun to do and I want to do more of it.
